Grand Motors Toyota is one of Southeast Queensland's most established and high-performing Toyota dealerships. With a workshop that runs at serious volume, we are a dealership that truly delivers at scale.

This is not your average Workshop Controller role. We are looking for a sharp, experienced operator who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and knows how to keep a busy workshop firing on all cylinders. If you love the energy of a workshop at full capacity and take genuine pride in operational excellence, this is the role for you.

What You'll Do

  • Own the daily scheduling and loading of a high-volume technician team to maximise throughput and efficiency
  • Drive the flow of work across the workshop floor β€” keeping jobs moving, technicians productive, and customers informed
  • Be the critical link between service advisors, technicians, and customers, ensuring clear and timely communication at every touchpoint
  • Keep repair orders accurate, complete, and processed without missing a beat
  • Lead the team to smash CSI, productivity, and efficiency KPIs
  • Uphold Toyota service standards, warranty compliance, and workshop safety β€” every time, no exceptions
  • Coordinate with parts to eliminate downtime and keep the bay doors turning
  • Bring genuine leadership energy to technicians and apprentices every single day

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience as a Workshop Controller β€” high-volume experience highly regarded
  • A natural ability to juggle multiple priorities without losing your cool
  • Strong communication skills and a presence that commands respect on the workshop floor
  • A customer-first mindset backed by the drive to deliver results
  • Proficiency with dealer management systems (experience with TUNE or similar highly regarded)
  • Current Queensland driver's licence

What We Offer

  • A high-energy, high-reward environment where your contribution is visible and valued every day
  • A stable, long-term career with one of Southeast Queensland's most trusted dealerships
  • Supportive leadership that backs its people and invests in their growth
  • Manufacturer training and ongoing professional development through Toyota
  • Metro Southeast Queensland location keeping you at the centre of the action
  • Competitive remuneration package commensurate with experience β€” because great people deserve great reward
