This role contributes by:
- Working alongside a team of Grain Handlers undertaking grain handling activities to deliver a safe and effective service in the receival, storage and outload of grain via road and rail.
- Coordinating day-to-day workflow of the team and supporting the attraction, selection, training, and development of permanent and casual team members.
- Developing and maintaining relationships with growers, customers, local community groups and internal stakeholders.
- Assisting the Site Manager to implement and review site budget, participate in site financial planning, and achieve site targets (e.g., $/tonne targets, road haulage rates, receival/outload KPIs).
- Supporting the resource planning for grain receival/outload activity during peak and off-peak periods.
- Supporting the planning and execution of scheduled and ad-hoc maintenance, grain protection, safety and quality activities and related reporting.
- Supervising a large seasonal workforce during our busy harvest intake periods, including at multiple sites.
