About the role:
The Leasing Manager is responsible for driving the successful lease-up and ongoing leasing performance of Queens Village, maximising occupancy and supporting rental revenue targets through a proactive, sales-focused approach.
Reporting to the Residence Manager, the role manages the leasing journey from initial enquiry to lease signing and resident handover. By building trusted relationships, presenting the lifestyle and community on offer and converting qualified leads into leases, the Leasing Manager delivers an exceptional experience that reflects GQ’s premium positioning.
Key Responsibilities include:
Proactively drive pre-leasing, lease-up and ongoing leasing activity to achieve agreed occupancy, conversion and rental revenue targets.
Respond promptly to enquiries, qualify prospective residents, maintain a strong leasing pipeline and follow up consistently to convert leads into signed leases.
Conduct private appointments, open inspections and group tours, clearly presenting apartment options, amenities, services and the Queens Village lifestyle.
Build rapport with prospective residents, understand their needs and provide tailored leasing
solutions that support long-term tenancy and resident satisfaction.
Work with the Residence Manager and Marketing Team to implement leasing campaigns, maintain accurate listings and communicate apartment availability and key selling points.
Develop relationships with corporate leasing partners and relocation agents to generate qualified leads and strengthen the leasing pipeline.
Monitor rental trends, competitors and prospect feedback. Recommend pricing, incentives and leasing strategies to support occupancy and revenue performance.
Maintain accurate lead, inspection, application and lease records in Yardi and relevant leasing systems, including Reapit, in line with business procedures.
Provide timely leasing reports covering enquiries, inspections, applications, conversion, leases signed, achieved rents, incentives and actions against targets.
Deliver a professional leasing experience from enquiry to move-in, following applicable tenancy requirements, business procedures and GQ service standards.
About you:
To be successful in this role, the ideal person will possess the following attributes and experience:
Experience in residential leasing, premium real estate sales or property management.
Experience leasing or selling within a single development or Build-to-Rent community is highly regarded.
Excellent sales and negotiation skills, with a proven ability to convert leads and achieve targets.
Outstanding customer service, polished presentation and strong communication skills.
The ability to communicate the value of lifestyle, community and the resident experience.
Proficiency in CRM systems, leasing software and lead tracking, with strong attention to detail.
Sound knowledge of rental markets and tenancy requirements, with a collaborative, accountable approach.
