About us: For 85 years, Gowrie Victoria has been at the forefront of early learning. We are a purpose-driven, not-for-profit organisation with a reputation for high-quality early childhood education and care. We champion excellence and implement a play-based, emergent curriculum across our nine early learning services in Victoria.
The opportunity: Gowrie has been selected as the provisional provider of a new early learning service in Craigieburn as part of the Victorian Government’s Kindergarten on School Sites program. Located in the northwest area of Craigieburn, our new service will provide free sessional kindergarten for 3–4-year-olds in 2027. This expansion allows us to provide high-quality early learning to more children and families in the Hume community and to build strong and lasting relationships with children, families, schools, and the local early childhood community.
We’re looking for a Kindergarten Manager to join our team in ensuring the success of these new services. The Kindergarten Manager will act as Nominated Supervisor and Educational Leader, alongside their role as a qualified Early Childhood Teacher (ECT). You’ll bring experience in a leadership role within the early childhood sector, alongside current VIT registration and recent teaching experience. You’ll lead, coach, and inspire a team of ECTs and educators in developing and implementing a high-quality pedagogical program with responsibility for compliance, people management, and enrolments at the service.
