The Role:
You will manage an established portfolio of approximately 30 buildings / 1,100 lots across the North Shore and CBD, with the largest scheme sitting at approximately 336 lots.
The portfolio offers excellent variety across residential, commercial and mixed-use schemes, including BMCs.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing approximately 30 buildings / 1,100 lots
- Managing residential, commercial and mixed-use schemes
- Managing BMCs
- Preparing for and following up on committee and general meetings
- Hosting and chairing AGMs, Executive Committee meetings and other meetings as required
- Building strong relationships with committees, owners and key stakeholders
- Financial reporting, general accounting and budgeting
- Managing levy and service charge invoicing
- Monitoring arrears and implementing collection strategies where required
- Coordinating repairs and maintenance
- Liaising with contractors and service providers
- Managing and enforcing rules and by-laws
- Issuing relevant notices, orders and certificates
- Ensuring schemes remain compliant with relevant legislation
About You:
To be considered, you will ideally have:
- Previous strata management experience
- Experience managing your own portfolio
- Strong knowledge of strata legislation and compliance
- Confidence chairing meetings and dealing with committees
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Strong organisation and time-management skills
- Experience with BMCs and mixed-use schemes highly regarded
- A Strata Managing Agent License or relevant strata qualifications
