Vehicle Fitters / Assembly Technicians to join our new Geelong facility.
Our Geelong operation specialises in fitting hook loaders, skip loaders and cranes to heavy vehicles . We're looking for skilled, versatile individuals who take pride in their work and bring a positive, can-do attitude.
The Role
- Fit and install hook loaders, skip loaders and cranes onto heavy vehicles
- Carry out mechanical fitting, assembly and installation work
- Install and connect hydraulic and electrical systems
- Perform welding, fabrication and modifications as required
- Read and interpret drawings and specifications
- Troubleshoot issues and ensure quality workmanship
What We're Looking For
- Experience in vehicle fitting, truck body building, mechanical assembly or similar
- Practical skills in mechanical, hydraulic, electrical and welding work
- Confidence using workshop tools and equipment
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A reliable work ethic, positive attitude and willingness to get stuck in
Experience across all areas is highly regarded, but you don't need to be an expert in everything. We value practical skills, versatility and a willingness to learn.
