About the Position
Our client is looking for an experienced Oral Health Therapist (OHT) or Dental Hygienist with adult scope to support their busy practice.
This is an excellent opportunity for a confident clinician seeking a well-supported locum assignment with competitive hourly rates, consistent patient demand and the opportunity to work alongside an experienced dental team.
The ideal candidate will be available to commence as soon as possible, with an initial requirement for Wednesday, Thursday and Friday and the potential to increase to five days per week during November.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing comprehensive dental hygiene and preventive care services
- Performing scale and cleans, periodontal maintenance and gum disease management
- Conducting oral health assessments and providing tailored patient education
- Delivering fluoride treatments and other preventive dental procedures
- Providing restorative treatments and additional services where permitted by your professional scope
- Working collaboratively with Dentists and Dental Assistants to deliver outstanding patient care
- Maintaining accurate clinical records and a high standard of infection control
Key Requirements
- Current AHPRA registration as an Oral Health Therapist or Dental Hygienist
- Adult scope of practice essential for Dental Hygienists
- Confidence in providing preventive, periodontal and general oral health services
- Strong interpersonal skills and a patient-focused approach
- Ability to work independently within a collaborative clinical environment
- Ability to commence in November, ideally from Wednesday 11 November
- New graduates and experienced clinicians are encouraged to enquire

- Competitive hourly remuneration: Indicatively $70-$75 per hour for experienced OHTs
