The Opportunity Gorilla Jobs is seeking a Locum Senior ED Doctor to provide overnight Emergency Department cover across Nepean Blue Mountains. This role suits an experienced Emergency Medicine doctor wanting overnight senior cover with junior doctor support and a clear shift pattern. Overnight shifts, at $300 per hour.
Clinical Environment
- Overnight in-charge role: lead ED cover with junior doctor support
- Broad acute exposure: manage ED patients, ward MET calls and critical presentations
- Senior escalation pathways: access anaesthetic, retrieval and specialist support when required
- Paediatric and neonatal exposure: support acute, paediatric and critical care presentations
- Supportive hospital environment with strong clinical exposure
Requirements
- Current AHPRA General Registration
- Minimum PGY5 experience
- Minimum 6 months recent Emergency Department experience
- Advanced Life Support and Basic Life Support skills
- Paediatric Life Support and neonatal resuscitation skills
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
