Melbourne Full-Time On-site

  • Instant internal referral base for full-arch and complex oral rehab cases

  • Equity share to be discussed for the right candidate

  • 4.9 stars from 440+ reviews and a fully digital clinic

About the Company

Our client is a modern, fully digital dental private clinic based in Ringwood, in Melbourne's outer east. It is a recently fitted practice with a team of ten dentists with a range of special interests, and a reputation to match: 4.9 stars from more than 400 patient reviews, built by a cohesive team.

The clinic runs a fully digital workflow, including CBCT imaging, intraoral scanning, same-day CAD/CAM restorations, a diode laser, and in-house digital design and printing. For you, that means complex cases can be planned and delivered under one roof, with the technology to back your clinical decisions.

Out front, a strong reception and treatment coordination team supports patients through larger treatment plans, so your time stays on clinical work. The practice welcomes more than 200 new patients a month and invests heavily in marketing for full-arch implant enquiries, so demand for high-end care is already there.

About the Position

Our client is seeking an experienced Principal Dentist to lead the practice's high-end clinical work. The current principal dentist is stepping down from clinical practice to focus on business operations and mentoring, and there is a skill gap across the wider team in the treatments below. For you, that means an instant internal referral base from the practice's ten dentists, rather than a book you have to build from scratch. This is a senior position: the practice needs a clinician with proven experience, not a recent graduate.

The work centres on:

  • Full-arch implant rehabilitation (All-on-X)

  • Surgical removal of impacted wisdom teeth

  • Oral rehabilitation

There is no shortage of cases. Alongside the internal referrals, the practice's own marketing generates full-arch enquiries and a strong front-of-house team supports patients through treatment, so a dentist who can deliver high-end treatment can build a busy book quickly. You would become the clinical lead for complex care, with real influence over how it is delivered.

The role is flexible on days, but 3+ days preferred. For the right candidate, an equity share can also be discussed, so this can grow from a clinical leadership role into a genuine stake in the practice.

Key Requirements

Essential:

  • Current, unrestricted AHPRA registration as a dentist with the Dental Board of Australia

  • Substantial clinical experience at a senior level

  • Demonstrated competence in full-arch implant placement (All-on-X)

  • Confident surgical extraction of impacted third molars

  • Oral rehabilitation experience

  • Current professional indemnity insurance

Desirable:

  • Experience working in a digital workflow (CBCT, intraoral scanning, CAD/CAM)

  • Leadership presence suited to a principal-level role

  • Interest in an equity pathway

On Offer

  • A principal-level role with an instant internal referral base from the practice's dentists, so you start with cases rather than waiting for them

  • Full-arch enquiries generated by the practice's own marketing, plus more than 200 new patients a month, so your book can build quickly

  • A fully digital clinic, so you can plan, design and deliver complex cases in one place

  • A strong front-of-house and treatment coordination team, so you can focus on clinical work

  • An equity share to be discussed for the right candidate

  • Flexibility on days

  • A competitive remuneration structure, to be discussed and reflecting the seniority of the role
