Gordon Legal is seeking an experienced and commercially minded lawyer to join our growing Commercial team.
This opportunity is ideally suited to a lawyer with 5+ years' post-admission experience who enjoys delivering strategic, practical advice to clients across a broad range of commercial and dispute resolution matters. We are looking for someone who combines strong technical skills with sound judgement, a collaborative approach and a genuine commitment to helping clients navigate complex legal and business challenges.

Key Responsibilities
- Advise clients on a broad range of commercial matters, including contracts, business structuring, governance, regulatory compliance and commercial disputes;
- Provide strategic and practical advice to clients on business, operational and organisational matters;
- Draft, review and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements and transactional documents;
- Manage and advise on commercial disputes, including litigation, mediation and alternative dispute resolution processes;
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders and referral partners;
- Identify opportunities to support existing clients and contribute to the growth and development of the practice;
- Collaborate with colleagues across the firm to deliver high‐quality, client‐focused outcomes;
- Stay abreast of legal and industry developments to provide proactive and commercially sound advice;
- Mentor and support junior lawyers where appropriate.
Skills & Experience
- Ideally 5+ years' post-admission experience in commercial law;
- Demonstrated experience advising clients on commercial, governance and business‐related matters;
- Litigation and dispute resolution experience is highly regarded;
- Strong commercial acumen and ability to understand clients' objectives and broader organisational needs;
- Excellent drafting, negotiation and communication skills;
- Proven ability to manage matters autonomously and deliver practical, solutions‐focused advice;
- Strong relationship management and client engagement skills;
- A collaborative approach and ability to work effectively within a team environment;
- Demonstrated initiative, professionalism and commitment to delivering exceptional client service;
