Sales Support Assistant – Residential Building (Training Provided)
We are hiring a Sales Support Assistant to join our growing residential home building company. This is an opportunity to work alongside an experienced team, learn the industry and build a career in sales.
Starting salary of $70,000–$80,000 + super, depending on relevant experience, plus a mobile phone and laptop.
This is an office based role, Monday to Friday, at our Wheelers Hill head office. Working side by side with the team is the best way to learn the industry and build your confidence, so the role does not include working from home.
A pathway into a BDM role with the potential to earn over $150,000 + super annually.
You will initially support our BDMs while learning the industry, with progression into a Business Development Manager / Account Manager position in around 12 months, depending on your progress.
Once you become a BDM, remuneration will be $80,000 + super, plus $2,000 commission per eligible job. With a target of five sales per month, there is strong earning potential as you develop your own relationships with agents and property investment groups.
We build across Melbourne and select regional areas and have ambitious long-term plans.
About the Role
You will initially support our Business Development Managers (BDMs), helping prepare house and land packages, source available land and coordinate information for our sales partners.
Through training and practical experience, you will develop your product knowledge, relationship management and sales skills, gradually taking on greater responsibility.
Key Responsibilities

Support BDMs in managing relationships with clients, agents and property investment groups

Prepare house and land packages and coordinate pricing and property information

Source available land and liaise with land agents and developers

Maintain regular communication with clients and sales partners

Coordinate brochures, marketing materials and available stock information

Assist with day-to-day sales administration
What We Are Looking For

Self-motivated, professional and willing to learn
Experience in customer service, administration, property, building or sales would be valuable, but industry experience is not essential. Full training is provided.
