Lead with purpose. Inspire your team. Make a difference every day.

Are you an experienced Centre Director looking for an exciting new opportunity? Or are you an ambitious and capable 2IC ready to take the next step into centre leadership? At Golden Seeds Early Learning Narrabeen, we're looking for a passionate, motivated and people-focused leader to take the reins of our beautiful 64-place early learning centre. This is an opportunity to make your mark, build an incredible team culture and lead a service where children, families and educators genuinely feel they belong.

About Golden Seeds Early Learning

Golden Seeds is a values-driven early learning organisation with a strong focus on providing warm, nurturing and high-quality early education. Our Narrabeen centre has been part of the local community since August 2020. We welcome children aged 6 weeks to 6 years and pride ourselves on creating a homely environment where meaningful relationships, learning and belonging come first. We believe great centres are built by great people, and great people need supportive leadership, clear direction and the opportunity to grow.

What's in it for you?

  • Flexible working arrangements – We understand the importance of balancing work and family life.
  • Up to 50% childcare fee discount – A fantastic benefit for your own little ones.
  • Leadership development – Access to professional development, coaching and exclusive leadership retreats.
  • Performance incentives – Opportunities to be recognised and rewarded for your contribution.
  • Support from senior management – You're not expected to do it all alone. You'll have access to guidance, mentoring and operational support.
  • Career progression – Be part of a growing organisation with opportunities to develop your leadership career.
  • Autonomy and ownership – Bring your ideas, make improvements and have a genuine influence on the direction of your centre.

About the Role

As Centre Director, you will take responsibility for the overall leadership, management and performance of the Narrabeen service. You will be supported to lead confidently while having the autonomy to develop your team and create a centre that reflects the Golden Seeds values.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading, developing and inspiring a motivated and high-performing team.
  • Creating a positive workplace culture built on respect, accountability and collaboration.
  • Building strong and trusting relationships with children, families and the wider community.
  • Overseeing daily operations, staffing, rostering and workforce planning.
  • Maintaining compliance with the National Quality Framework, National Regulations and relevant legislation.
  • Driving continuous improvement, quality outcomes and educational excellence.
  • Managing centre budgets, expenditure and financial performance.
  • Driving occupancy, enrolments and family engagement.
  • Supporting educator development, performance management and professional growth.
  • Working collaboratively with senior management to achieve organisational goals.

About You

We're looking for someone who leads with both heart and confidence. You are someone who can build relationships, make decisions, have difficult conversations when needed and bring people together around a shared vision.

Ideally, you will have:

  • Diploma or Bachelor qualification in Early Childhood Education (or ACECQA-approved equivalent).
  • At least two years' experience as a Centre Director, or substantial experience as a 2IC ready to step up.
  • Strong knowledge of the NQF, EYLF and National Regulations.
  • Demonstrated people management and leadership skills.
  • An understanding of budgets, occupancy and financial performance.
  • Strong organisational, communication and problem-solving skills.
  • The ability to lead a team through change, challenges and continuous improvement.
  • A genuine passion for early childhood education and the wellbeing of children.

Most importantly, you will be someone who takes pride in their centre, cares about their people and wants to make a positive difference.
