Centre Director - Golden Seeds Early Learning Narrabeen

Are you an experienced Centre Director who leads with heart and purpose? Are you ready to step into a role that values authentic leadership, flexibility, and meaningful community connections?

At Golden Seeds Early Learning Narrabeen, we're not just offering another director position, we're inviting you to co-lead a movement of excellence in early education, backed by support, recognition, and genuine joy.

We're a passionate and values-driven early learning community on Sydney's Northern Beaches. At our purpose-built, 64-place centre, we welcome children aged 6 weeks to 6 years into an environment that fosters deep connections, lifelong learning, and meaningful play.

Since opening in August 2020, we've built lasting relationships with our educators, children, local families and schools, and we're proud of the strong community spirit that defines us. We take pride in what we do and are all passionate about making a positive difference. We see our service as an extension from our homes, with a deep focus on creating spaces that are warm, nurturing and homely.

What Makes This Role Different?

  • Flexible work arrangements that support life balance
  • Access to exclusive leadership retreats and wellbeing experiences
  • Performance-based incentives and recognition programs
  • Up to 50% off your childcare fees for your little ones
  • A strong sense of belonging, autonomy, and collaboration
  • Focus and support for future career progression

This role is not just about KPIs, it's about growing a centre that supports and enriches our team, where families feel supported, and children flourish.

Your Role as Centre Director

You will be the beating heart of our service, guiding your team with clarity, compassion, and vision. You'll:

  • Cultivate a positive, high-performing team culture that educators love being part of
  • Foster warm, trusting relationships with families and the community
  • Lead with integrity and ensure the centre remains compliant, innovative, and safe
  • Oversee centre performance such as occupancy, staffing, compliance, and quality
  • Be a strong community advocate and actively connect with local networks
  • Role model ethical leadership, self-reflection, and continuous improvement

About You

We're looking for a leader who has walked this path before. Someone who is deeply invested in early education, and ready to bring their experience and ideas to life. You'll need:

  • Diploma or Bachelor in Early Childhood (or ACECQA-approved equivalent)
  • Minimum 2 years' experience as a Centre Director
  • A strong understanding of the NQF, EYLF, and quality improvement processes
  • Excellent people management, leadership and communication skills
  • Sound understanding of budgets and management of funding
  • A strong sense of purpose, emotional intelligence, and love for this profession

Why Join the Golden Seeds Family?

  • We celebrate leadership through professional development, coaching, and retreats
  • We foster balance with flexibility to support you and your family
  • We value community and you'll play a vital role in shaping local connections
  • We care about quality with resourcing and mentoring that set you up for success
  • We recognise your impact with performance rewards and real career pathways

Ready to Grow with Us?
