We are seeking a full-time Kitchen Filter Technician to join our team at Gold Coast Commercial Filter Cleaning in Burleigh Heads, QLD.
In this role, you will be responsible for providing delivery and exchange services of kitchen exhaust filters for our commercial kitchen clients on a daily basis.
There will also be some cleaning of commercial kitchen canopies as a smaller, but still important, part of this role.
- What You'll Be Doing
- Load and unload daily stock for your run; maintain a clean and organised vehicle
- Driving to a high number of sites across the Gold Coast and Northern NSW, according to your job list each day.
- Remove and reinstall kitchen exhaust filters, taking photos and completing basic service reports on work smartphone.
Basic problem solving or customer follow up where a job couldn't go ahead.
- Review your jobs from the technicians office when you return each day - address outstanding jobs from today and identify possible obstacles for tomorrow.
- Some factory tasks as required
- Ensure all work is completed safety and with genuine care.
- Contribute to the team environment, bringing a positive and proactive attitude to work
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in a similar role is ideal but not essential.
Ultimately being comfortable with the driving component long term and having an understanding of commercial kitchen environments is important.
- Strong attention to detail, reliability and a commitment to a long term position.
- Good physical fitness - this is a physical labour role
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work both independently as well as part of a team
- A positive attitude, care for yourself and others, and a willingness to learn and grow
- Comfortable working independently - must be able to work efficiently without the need for constant supervision.
- Open drivers licence (manual preferred but not essential)
- Fit for early starts (5am daily as a general rule, there is a 4am start usually once per week, earlier finish available)
- Police check, traffic history report and references required
