We have an exciting opportunity for an Engineering Support Administratorto join our Eylex team on a full-time permanent basis. Reporting to the Systems Integration Engineer.
The Role
- Complete engineering and production administration tasks to support the delivery of engineering, manufacturing and project outcomes.
- Use PLM systems and related engineering software to support the administration and release of product data and technical documentation in line with company procedures.
- Support configuration management activities, including document control and engineering change processes.
- Prepare accurate and complete Assembly Order Documentation, including work instructions, aligned with approved engineering configurations and production requirements.
- Maintain and update engineering records in PLM systems and other CAD-related software and tools.
- Work with engineering and production teams to resolve documentation discrepancies and maintain document accuracy.
- Support project close-out activities, including documentation review, reporting, archiving, lessons learned and post-project reviews.
- Assist with sales quote preparation by supporting material price analysis, supply chain coordination and data entry.
- Support Projects and Operations Coordinators with project documentation and daily administrative tasks, including preparing meeting agendas and minutes.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
About You
- Strong administration, organisation, data entry and document control skills.
- Highly organised and detail-focused, with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
- Sound understanding of configuration management and engineering change processes.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Excel and Visio.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and support a range of stakeholders.
- Experience using PTC Windchill, PLM systems, document management systems, or similar engineering software.
- Experience in configuration management and document revisioning
- Some experience or understanding of cable manufacturing and related processes is desirable
- Experience in Microsoft Visio or other related software for engineering schematics and drawings
- Experience in engineering, manufacturing, production, or project administration environments.
