We’re growing fast, and we’re looking for high-performing people to help lead our next stage of growth across Australia. We are currently looking for two fleet managers to grow our business in Ringwood & Lilydale, and in Cranbourne and Pakenham.
About the Role
This is a hunter-focused role for a proactive closer who can identify, target and secure new business. You will lead the transition of traditional corporate fleets to BYD’s innovative EV range, backed by BYD’s cutting-edge technology.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive New Business:Identify and engage high-potential corporate clients, SMEs and government bodies, and integrate BYD vehicles into their fleets through theGlory EVnetwork.
- Consultative Selling:Use your expertise in Total Cost of Ownership (TCO), FBT benefits and vehicle taxation to show clients the financial and environmental value of the BYD range.
- Pipeline Management:Build and manage a robust sales pipeline, from initial cold outreach and prospecting to contract negotiation and closing.
- Tenders and proposals: Prepare tailored quotes, tenders and fleet proposals that meet each client’s needs and budget.
- Stakeholder Engagement:Collaborate with leasing companies, finance partners, and Glory EV’sinternal teams to deliver tailored fleet solutions.
- Client advisory: Advise customers on fleet electrification, including transition planning and charging requirements, and build long-term relationships that lead to repeat business.
- Brand Ambassador:Represent theGlory EVbrand and BYD at national trade fairs, industry events, and high-level corporate presentations.
- Reporting: Track activity, forecast sales and report on pipeline performance and results against targets.
Qualification
At least 5 years of proven success in fleet sales, B2B automotive business development, or fleet leasing.
A strong understanding of the Australian fleet industry, including residual value forecasting and lifecycle management, and experience with CRM systems.
Mindset:An entrepreneurial "hunter" mentality, with a track record of consistently exceeding sales targets in competitive markets.
Skills: Strong commercial acumen, exceptional negotiation and presentation skills, and a genuine passion for sustainable transport and EV infrastructure.
