About the role
Global Vision Migration Lawyers is a Melbourne-based immigration law firm advising individuals and businesses on Australian visa and migration matters. As our client base grows, we are looking for an admitted immigration lawyer to join our Melbourne office.

Key responsibilities
- Advise clients on Australian visa and migration pathways
- Prepare and lodge visa applications, nominations and submissions
- Prepare and run merits review matters before the Administrative Review Tribunal
- Liaise with clients, the Department of Home Affairs and other stakeholders
- Maintain current knowledge of migration law and policy
- Comply with the Legal Profession Uniform Law and the professional conduct rules
- Contribute to business development
What we’re looking for
- Admitted Australian legal practitioner holding a current practising certificate
- Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in Australian migration law
- Experience with subclass 407, 482, 494 and 186 visas
- Strong working knowledge of employer-sponsored, skilled, family and business visas
- Excellent written and verbal communication and client management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- High attention to detail and sound judgment
- Additional languages are an advantage
