We’re looking for an experienced Veterinary Nurse to join our growing pet dental business, providing non-sedation / non-anaesthesia dental cleaning for dogs and cats. This is a hands-on role for someone who is confident with animals, fantastic with people and enjoys combining clinical skills, customer service and sales.
The role
- Performing professional dental scaling and cleaning for dogs and cats
- Confidently handling a wide variety of breeds, sizes and ages
- Creating an exceptional experience for pets and their owners
- Providing advice and recommendations to pet owners
- Promoting and selling our dental care products
- Managing customer bookings and enquiries
- Maintaining excellent hygiene, sterilisation and equipment standards
- Supporting customer acquisition, marketing and partner relationships
- Training new team members as required
- Working across different salon and partner locations throughout Sydney
About you
- Minimum 1-2 years’ experience as a Veterinary Nurse
- Veterinary Nursing qualifications
- Full Australian driver’s licence
- Strong dog handling and dental scaling skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Confidence with sales and recommending products
- A high level of initiative and independence
- Excellent attention to detail and cleanliness
- A warm, caring and professional manner
- A genuine love of dogs and cats
