Global Service Pty Ltd t/a Miso Japanese Teishoku Restaurant is looking for a Japanese Chef with the following details:
Responsibilities:
- Overall duties as Japanese Chef
- Developing new menu including estimating various costs for food and labour and coordinating supply of food stuff for kitchen
- Performing overall food preparation and directing kitchen staff
- Checking and ensuring quality and tastes of all dishes being prepared and cooked properly
- Conferring with other chefs, waiting staff and management on various food preparation issues
- Developing more efficient cooking procedures and applying cooking skills and techniques
Qualifications:
- At least diploma (including Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery) in Hospitality Management or equivalent work experience as a Japanese chef
- At least 3 years’ work experience as a Japanese chef
- Excellent cooking expertise in Japanese cuisine
Salary: $80,000 plus super, annual leave, sick leave.
