Join a well-established food distribution business and become part of a high-performing warehouse team. This is an ongoing opportunity for an experienced Warehouse Receiving Assistant with strong attention to detail and a solid understanding of inbound stock processes. Working Monday to Friday, 6:00am – 2:06pm, you’ll have your afternoons free and the opportunity to move into a permanent position for the right person.
The Role
- Receiving and checking incoming stock
- Cross-checking deliveries against purchase orders and documentation
- Entering and recording stock accurately into warehouse systems
- Identifying and investigating discrepancies, damages and missing stock
- Maintaining an organised and compliant receiving area
- Investigating stock variances and supporting stock control processes
- Working closely with warehouse and operational teams
- Contributing to continuous improvement across receiving and inventory processes
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in warehouse receiving and/or inventory control
- Essential: experience working in a cold storage warehouse
- Experience within food distribution, FMCG or another high-volume warehouse environment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Confidence using warehouse or inventory management systems
- Good communication and the ability to work well as part of a team
- A reliable, professional and committed approach to work
- A genuine interest in securing a long-term opportunity
