About the Role
- Reporting to the Statutory Electrical Engineer, this role will be responsible for:
- Support and promote continuous improvement to the mines Electrical Infrastructure, mining fleet, Gas Drainage, Tailings Relocation & Water Management Systems, and Coal Handling & Preparation Plant.
- Provide advice and support across the complex relevant to your professional area.
- Actively investigate enhancements to standards, procedures, and processes in areas of expertise that achieves improvements in safety, reliability, performance, job satisfaction and productivity
- Assist with planning and coordination of resources within area of responsibility.
- Taking all reasonable steps to minimise impact on the environment.
About you
- Possess or currently studying to gain tertiary qualifications in Electrical Engineering and have relevant industry experience.
- Have a strong focus on innovation, to ensure enhancements to plant, procedures and processes that achieve improvements in performance, safety, job satisfaction and productivity.
- You are able to build relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
- You have a driven personality, are self-motivated and a high-level communicator.
- You are a team player with a high level of safety awareness, an attitude for outstanding performance, and a willingness to contribute to a winning team.
