An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Senior Quality Controller to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of product development and supplier relationships across our portfolio of Australian luxury brands, while leading and fostering a collaborative, high-performing team.
This is a full-time, five-day-a-week position based at our head office in Rydalmere.
What you'll do:
- Source/Manage supplier approval, qualification and performance for onboarding, and ongoing provider support. Including conducting supplier audits and assessments.
- Manage componentry specifications and ensure that these are made available to NPD, Supplier & Quality Team prior to business gate/or purchase.
- Document & communicate inspection requirements for product release with supplier and quality team.
- Closely support NPD and Suppliers to develop new product, and components.
- Investigating supplier-related quality issues and monitor corrective actions.
- Support APCO – employee training, reporting and continuous improvement.
- Assist with the development of a QA System Management, and GMP requirements.
- Monitor Non-Conforming Product register conducting trend analysis and ensure open actions are closed in a timely manner.
- Monthly board report compilation.
Who you are:
- 5-8 years experience in a similar role
- Experience in quality management
- Demonstrated experience managing quality issues, non-conformances, investigations and corrective actions independently.
- Demonstrated capability in coordinating projects and delivering results with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication skills for liaising with suppliers, clients, and internal teams.
- Ability to communicate with Chinese/Korean suppliers an advantage
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage and track complex information.
- Good organisational and problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage your time in a fast-paced environment
