GLAICA Ltd are seeking reliable, caring and hardworking Cleaning Staffto join our team at a residential aged-care facility.
Our staff play an important role in maintaining a safe, clean and welcoming environment for our elderly residents.
Key responsibilities include:
Cleaning Staff
We are looking for dedicated cleaning staff to maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the facility.
Key responsibilities include:
Cleaning resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, dining areas, corridors and staff facilities.
Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting and sanitising surfaces.
Cleaning and disinfecting high-touch areas.
Following infection-prevention and control procedures.
Correctly using cleaning chemicals, equipment and personal protective equipment (PPE).
Handling waste safely and according to facility procedures.
Reporting maintenance, safety or hygiene issues to management.
Respecting residents' privacy, dignity and personal belongings.
Expected to work weekend shifts.
Previous cleaning experience, particularly in aged care, healthcare, hospitals, or other regulated environments, is highly regarded.
