Giusto Neuro Centre is a new private neurodevelopmental assessment service based in Northampton, founded and run by a Registered Mental Health Nurse. We are building a careful, well-organised and neuro-affirming service from the ground up, and we're looking for an experienced clinician to lead it clinically. Our founder leads operations, safeguarding and governance; as Lead Clinician, you will own diagnosis and clinical standards.
The role:
- Carry out ADHD and/or autism assessments, in person in Northampton and remotely where clinically appropriate
- Set clinical standards: assessment pathways, choice of tools and questionnaires in line with NICE guidance, and report templates
- Review, approve and sign off assessment reports
- Work with our founder on clinical policies and quality
- Help recruit and supervise sessional assessors as the service grows
We will shape our launch services, including age groups (adults, children and young people, or both), around the expertise of the right candidate.

Appointment is subject to verification of professional registration, two professional references, right-to-work and identity checks, and, for work with children, an enhanced DBS check with barred-list check. Essential:
- Current registration with the HCPC as a clinical or counselling psychologist, or with the GMC as a psychiatrist on the specialist register
- Substantial experience diagnosing ADHD and/or autism
- Professional indemnity insurance covering private assessment work, or willingness to obtain it
- Right to work in the UK
Desirable:
- Training in ADOS-2, ADI-R, DIVA-5 or other recognised assessment tools
- Experience of clinical leadership, supervision or service development
- Experience in independent or private practice
