Get Plants Delivered is a growing Canberra plant supply business based in Pialligo, ACT. We source plants from growers all across NSW and Victoria and deliver them direct to landscapers and building sites around Canberra, Cooma, the South Coast, the Southern Highlands and beyond. We’re looking for someone who likes staying active and being outdoors, and ideally has a love of plants.
What your week could look like
A big day driving around NSW, collecting plants from our growers and bringing them back to the yard (usually once a week, around 12 hours)
Sorting plants into client orders at the yard (plant knowledge is a bonus, but it can be taught)
Local deliveries around Canberra, meeting clients and helping them unload
Overnight trips to Victoria to collect from growers
Odd jobs to keep the yard organised, neat and tidy
Potting on plants and trees from time to time
The NSW collection day is the core of the role, and other days are flexible and can grow with the business.
What we offer
Above award wages, with overtime and penalty rates
Regular weekly work, planned ahead so you know what’s coming
Varied work, no two weeks look the same
You won’t be thrown in the deep end. I’ll work alongside you to start.
What you’ll need
A medium rigid (MR) truck licence, or be keen to get one.
To enjoy active, outdoor work
To be someone we can count on each week
A good eye for detail, and a friendly manner with our growers and clients
