Geoff Williams & Associates is a local family run legal practice that has been operating in the Coolangatta / Tweed Heads region for over 30 years.

We are seeking an experienced and reliable conveyancing assistant / paralegal, who is familiar with both QLD and NSW conveyancing matters.
The position is a full time role.
You will be working under the direct supervision of two qualified lawyers and act in a support role of an experienced conveyancer.
Qualifications and Experience
- Experience using LEAP legal software and PEXA;
- Be able to work efficiently and within tight deadlines;
- Be able to work autonomously and under direct supervision;
- Be thorough and attentive and be able to effectively communicate with clients and colleagues;
The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years’ experience in the field of conveyancing and will be responsible for undertaking the following tasks:
- Opening files and review of data
- Stamping in both NSW & QLD
- Prepare NSW Contracts
- Order property searches
- Setup PEXA workspaces
- Prepare settlement figures
- Initial and final letters to clients
- Preparing correspondence on files
- Liaising with clients
- General office duties, including answering telephone
