Gensites Pty Ltd is seeking a skilled Welder to join our team. Located in the Parramatta area, this workshop role offers flexible hours, and you will be responsible for performing high-quality welding work across various applications, utilising your technical expertise and attention to detail to ensure all work meets industry standards and client specifications.
What you'll be doing:
- Performing welding operations using a variety of welding techniques including MIG, stick and gouging.
- Preparing workpieces for welding, including grinding, and positioning materials.
- Inspecting completed welds to ensure they meet quality standards and safety requirements.
- Maintaining welding equipment and ensuring all tools and equipment are in proper working condition.
- Following all workplace health and safety procedures and regulations.
- Collaborating with team members and supervisors to complete projects on schedule.
- Documenting welding work and maintaining accurate records as required.
What we're looking for:
- Current welding qualification or recognised welding certification.
- Proven experience as a welder in commercial or industrial settings.
- Proficiency in welding techniques and the ability to work with various metals and materials.
- Strong understanding of welding safety standards and workplace health and safety requirements.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Physical fitness.
