We are seeking an experienced SAP MM Procurement Lead to join a high-profile transformation program for an initial 3-6 month contract in Sydney. This role will play a key part in leading procurement and materials management initiatives within a complex SAP environment. You will work closely with business stakeholders, project teams, and vendors to drive successful delivery across procurement processes, solution design, and implementation activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead SAP MM workstreams across project and enhancement initiatives
- Partner with business stakeholders to define procurement requirements and translate them into SAP solutions
- Provide expertise across Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes
- Design, configure, and support SAP MM solutions
- Lead workshops, requirements gathering, and solution design sessions
- Coordinate testing, UAT, defect management, and deployment activities
- Collaborate with SAP functional teams including FI/CO, SD, WM/EWM, and Ariba where applicable
- Provide leadership, guidance, and best-practice recommendations throughout the project lifecycle
- Manage risks, issues, and stakeholder communications
Skills Required
- You will be a seasoned SAP procurement professional with a strong background delivering SAP MM solutions within large-scale enterprise environments.
- Strong SAP MM experience
- Proven experience as a Lead Consultant, Solution Lead, or Functional Lead
- Deep knowledge of SAP MM and Procure-to-Pay processes
- Strong experience in procurement, purchasing, inventory management, and vendor management
- Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA implementations, upgrades, or transformations
- Experience leading workshops and engaging senior business stakeholders
- Strong functional design, configuration, and testing expertise
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
