Position Overview
We are seeking a casual driver, with the potential for full-time employment for the right candidate. The role involves pick-up and delivery of laundry throughout Geelong, the coastal regions, and Melbourne metropolitan areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Pick up and deliver laundry across designated regions
- Communicate effectively with the dispatch department
- Utilize Proof of Delivery (POD) technology
- Conduct prestart vehicle checks and promptly report maintenance issues
- Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the vehicle
- Adhere to Occupational Health & Safety (OH&S) policies and procedures
- Build and maintain positive relationships with customers
- Be available to work overtime and weekends as required
Requirements
- Valid MR (manual) license with at least 2 years of driving experience
- Experience using POD applications
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience with multi-drop deliveries
- Current police check and Working With Children's Check
- Ability to provide a VicRoads driving report
- Completion of a pre-employment medical check
