As The Gordon's Equity and Inclusion Lead, you will play a key role in turning our commitment to equity, diversity and inclusion into meaningful action. Building on strong foundations already in place, you'll lead initiatives, partnerships and programs creating lasting impact for our people, our culture and our community.

Working collaboratively with leaders and stakeholders across The Gordon, you'll influence the way we think, lead and work. You'll champion inclusive practices, strengthen capability and help embed a culture where diversity is celebrated, every voice is heard and everyone has the opportunity to thrive.

This is a unique opportunity to leave a lasting legacy by helping create an environment where people feel connected, empowered and able to bring their whole selves to work. If you're passionate about driving meaningful change and creating exceptional workplace experiences, we'd love to hear from you.

Some key areas of responsibility include but are not limited to:

  • Lead the implementation and ongoing evaluation of The Gordon's Organisational Equity and Inclusion Action Plan.
  • Drive delivery of The Gordon's Gender Equality Plan, including action plans, communication activities and measurement frameworks.

  • Partner with leaders and stakeholders to embed inclusive practices across policies, programs, systems and workplace culture.
  • Analyse workforce data, monitor progress and provide insights to support evidence-based decision making and continuous improvement.

You're someone who sees inclusion not as a program, but as a way of creating better workplaces and experiences for everyone. You thrive on building relationships, influencing positive change and bringing people on the journey. Combining strategic thinking with hands-on delivery, you're equally comfortable developing initiatives as you are partnering with leaders, facilitating conversations and measuring impact. Most importantly, you're passionate about creating environments where people feel respected, valued and empowered to succeed.

Some key skills and experience we are after include, but are not limited to:

  • Experience leading and implementing equity, diversity and inclusion initiatives within a People and Culture, Human Resources or organisational development environment.
  • Strong knowledge of equity, inclusion, accessibility and gender equality frameworks, legislation and contemporary best practice.
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong stakeholder relationships and influence outcomes across all levels of an organisation.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends and translate insights into meaningful action.
  • Experience designing and delivering engaging workshops, education programs and capability building initiatives.
