Warehouse Labourer / Storeperson – Girraween, NSW
$36 per hour + $22 Daily Travel Allowance | Monday to Friday
We are currently seeking an experienced and reliable Warehouse Labourer / Storeperson to join a busy warehouse operation based in Girraween, Western Sydney.
This is a hands-on role requiring a combination of warehouse operations, forklift driving and manual labour. The successful candidate must hold a current forklift licence and have demonstrated experience loading and unloading shipping containers.
We are looking for someone who is physically fit, safety-conscious and capable of working efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Loading and unloading shipping containers safely and efficiently
- Performing general storeperson and warehouse duties
- Operating a forklift to move, position and handle stock
- Picking, packing and preparing orders for dispatch
- Wrapping, securing and preparing pallets
- Loading and unloading trucks and other freight
- Undertaking manual handling and general labouring duties
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe warehouse environment
- Assisting with general warehouse operations as required
Skills and Experience To be considered for this position, applicants must have:
- A current and valid Australian forklift licence – essential
- Previous experience desirable for loading and unloading shipping containers
- Previous experience in a warehouse, storeperson or labouring role
- Demonstrated forklift operating experience
- The physical fitness required to perform manual handling and repetitive tasks
- A strong understanding of workplace health and safety procedures
- A reliable, punctual and professional approach to work
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A proactive attitude and willingness to undertake hands-on duties
- Full working rights in Australia
