The Role
As part of our experienced installation team, you'll work on a variety of renewable energy and electrical projects throughout Far North Queensland.
Your responsibilities will include
- Installation, testing and commissioning of residential and commercial solar PV systems.
- Installation and commissioning of battery storage systems, subject to appropriate accreditation.
- Working with premium products from Tesla, Sigenergy, Fronius, BYD and other leading manufacturers.
- Installation of EV charging equipment.
- Switchboard upgrades, relocations and replacements.
- Ensuring all installations meet Australian Standards, regulatory requirements and company quality standards.
- Delivering professional, friendly customer service.
What We're Looking For
Essential Requirements
- Current Queensland Electrical License.
- Current Solar Accreditation Australia (SAA) accreditation for solar PV installation.
- Demonstrated experience installing and commissioning solar PV systems.
- Knowledge of relevant Australian Standards and electrical safety requirements.
- Understanding of Ergon Energy's QECM requirements.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic and ability to work as part of a team.
- Highly Desirable
- SAA battery storage accreditation.
- Experience installing Tesla Powerwall, Sigenergy, Fronius or BYD battery systems.
- Experience with hybrid inverters, backup systems and advanced battery configurations.
- Experience with commercial solar installations.
