Our client, a leading commercial business operating across the Infrastructure, energy, resources, transport, defence and building and construction sectors, is seeking a legal counsel to join its growing legal team. Reporting to the Legal Director, this role will involve:
- Providing strategic commercial and legal advice on major infrastructure projects across a number of sectors including transport, renewables and resources.
- Reviewing, drafting and negotiating contracts.
- Drafting precedent suites of commercial agreements relevant to the infrastructure market.
- Providing advice on contractual dispute resolution procedures.
Key Requirements:
- Ideally a minimum of 4 years PQE gained either from a renowned private practice or in-house organisation.
- Experience in advising on complex transactions, with exposure to project delivery issues.
- In-depth understanding of construction law and contracts.
- Experience with commercial policies and identifying key risks within contracts.
- Proven ability to manage competing deadlines.
- A pro-active and commercial approach to projects and workloads.
