Love working with people and being part of a team that genuinely helps each other? Here's your opportunity to join a well-established orthodontic practice that has been caring for patients for years and is giving its Norwest clinic a fresh new look! We’re looking for an experienced Dental Receptionist who enjoys creating a welcoming patient experience, keeps things organised behind the scenes and is always happy to lend a hand. You'll be joining a team of nine in administration, where a helpful attitude, initiative and a willingness to pitch in are genuinely valued. With a refreshed clinic environment, an established business behind you and a 9-day fortnight with every second Wednesday off, this is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking for a great team and a little more balance in their working week.
What you'll be doing:
- Welcoming patients and providing a warm, friendly first impression.
- Answering incoming calls, handling enquiries and managing appointment bookings.
- Processing payments and ensuring outstanding accounts are followed up and kept up to date.
- Printing patient information, preparing documentation and issuing reports.
- Supporting the wider administration team with the day‑to‑day running of the clinic.
- Keeping reception organised, presentable and running efficiently.
- Noticing the little things that need attention — whether that's tidying an area, keeping the clinic clean and welcoming or jumping in to help a colleague when things get busy.
What we’re looking for:
- Previous dental reception experience is essential.
- We’re specifically looking for someone with a background in a dental practice, rather than general medical reception, who understands the pace and administrative requirements of a dental environment.
- Has a warm, approachable and helpful demeanour.
- Is organised, reliable and comfortable juggling different priorities.
- Has experience with payments, outstanding accounts and general administration.
- Takes pride in accuracy and keeping things up to date.
- Is a genuine team player who is happy to help wherever needed.
- Uses initiative and doesn’t wait to be asked to do the obvious.
- Takes pride in maintaining a clean, tidy and professional clinic.
We’re looking for someone who understands that being a great receptionist is about more than answering phones and booking appointments. It’s about making patients feel comfortable, supporting your colleagues and taking ownership of the little things that make a big difference.
The details:
- Location: Norwest, close to the Metro, with parking available.
- Hours: 7:30am - 5:00pm.
- Roster: 9-day fortnight, with every second Wednesday off.
- Environment: An established orthodontic practice with a refreshed clinic and a nine‑person administration team.
Sound like you? If you’re an experienced dental receptionist who enjoys a busy environment, loves being part of a supportive team and takes pride in keeping things running smoothly, we’d love to hear from you. Join an established practice with a fresh clinic environment, a great team around you and a roster that gives you every second Wednesday off.
