For over 90 years, Fulton Hogan has been delivering high-quality infrastructure to improve the lives of people every day. Our 10,000+ team works in a range of environments, creating, connecting, and caring for communities across Australia and New Zealand.

Fulton Hogan is proud to manage the Sydney Airport Grounds Maintenance Contract with a skilled team delivering a diverse range of services across one of Australia’s busiest airports. Our work includes landscaping, vegetation management, litter collection, street sweeping, line marking, pavement repairs, guardrail maintenance, horticultural and arborist works, and minor civil works across both airside and landside locations.

We’re looking for Crew Members to join the team in a hands‑on outdoor role. Working closely with an experienced and supportive crew, you’ll play a key part in maintaining and enhancing airport grounds and infrastructure, helping ensure works are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys practical work, takes pride in quality outcomes and wants to build a long‑term career with Fulton Hogan.

You’ll gain exposure to a variety of work activities, learn from experienced team members and have opportunities to expand your skills across multiple work fronts. Working Monday to Friday from 6:30am to 3:00pm, you’ll enjoy consistent hours, a strong team culture and a unique work environment where no two days are the same. You’ll be part of a down‑to‑earth team that values safety, teamwork and continuous development.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Support asphalt preparation and laying activities across multiple sites
  • Assist with plant operation, site set‑up and general labouring tasks
  • Maintain a safe, clean and organised work environment
  • Work collaboratively with crew members to deliver quality outcomes
  • Follow site procedures and safety requirements at all times
  • Contribute to daily pre‑starts, toolbox talks and team activities

To be successful in this role, you’ll bring a positive attitude and willingness to learn, along with:

  • A current Construction Induction Card (White Card)
  • Experience operating construction plant such as rollers, loaders, graders or skid steer (desirable)
  • A strong commitment to safety, quality and team values
  • Reliability, a strong work ethic and a willingness to get hands‑on
  • Flexibility to travel, work away from home, and undertake night and weekend work
  • A current HR licence and/or plant tickets (desirable, but not essential)

The pre-employment process will include a medical check, including drug and alcohol screening.

Our Living Safely culture ensures that we care for ourselves, each other and the communities that we work in. We invest in our people’s career development and provide pathways in the form of apprenticeships, traineeships, or certificate(s) opportunities. If additional tickets and licenses are required, we can help with that too.

Our purpose of creating, connecting, and caring for communities is more than a saying to us – it’s a way of thinking, working, and living because we’re locals too, and seek to give back in ways that strengthen and build resilient communities.

Our people share the same set of values that keep us REAL. Respect, Energy and Effort, Attitude and Leadership are what we stand for at Fulton Hogan and encourage us to foster a diverse and inclusive culture where we listen to, care for, celebrate, and respect everyone. We are committed to reconciliation and building and nurturing respectful relationships with First Nations peoples.

If our REAL values resonate with you, please submit an application for the position. If you’re not sure that you meet 100% of the selection criteria, that’s okay, we would still like to hear from you and potentially discuss how your skills could be utilised at Fulton Hogan.
