Fujitsu is seeking an experienced Finance Business Partner to provide commercially focused financial insight and trusted advice to business leaders across a complex, matrix environment. Partnering closely with Defence and/or Commercial Enterprise stakeholders, you will translate financial data into clear business actions, strengthen budgeting and forecasting discipline, and help improve revenue, margin, cost, cash and working capital performance. This role combines strong technical finance capability with proactive, relationship-based business partnering.

What you'll do

  • Act as a trusted finance partner to business leaders, providing practical, evidence-based advice and constructive challenge.
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting and periodic outlook activities for your assigned business areas.
  • Analyse revenue, margin, costs, utilisation, cash and working capital, turning insights into clear recommendations.
  • Support business initiatives, projects, services and contracts through financial modelling, scenario analysis and investment appraisal.
  • Monitor performance against budgets and forecasts, investigate material variances and agree corrective actions with stakeholders.
  • Lead month-end and year-end close activities, including accruals, provisions, journals, reconciliations and stakeholder sign-off.
  • Maintain strong balance sheet governance, financial controls and compliance with accounting policies.
  • Partner across Finance, Sales, Operations and Delivery to improve commercial outcomes and management information.
  • Identify opportunities to improve finance processes, reporting, data quality and stakeholder financial capability.
  • Support team capability through knowledge sharing, coaching and mentoring.

About you

You are a commercially minded finance professional who can work independently, influence senior stakeholders and communicate complex financial information clearly. You are comfortable challenging assumptions while maintaining constructive and trusted business relationships.

You will bring:

  • A recognised professional accounting qualification such as CA, CPA, CIMA, ACCA or equivalent.
  • A relevant tertiary qualification in accounting, finance, commerce, economics or a related discipline.
  • At least five years of relevant post-qualification experience in finance business partnering, FP&A, business controlling or commercial finance.
  • Strong experience in budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, financial modelling and management reporting.
  • Experience in a services-based organisation, ideally technology, IT services, professional services, outsourcing or another project-led environment.
  • Confidence partnering with business leaders and influencing decisions through financial insight and practical recommendations.
  • Advanced Excel capability and experience using enterprise finance, planning or business intelligence systems.
  • Current working rights in the country where the role is based.
