We're looking for an experienced Assistant Store Manager to join a newly opened store at Claremont Quarter.
This is a great opportunity to join an established and much-loved premium brand, working alongside a supportive leadership team and a passionate team delivering memorable customer experiences.
With the store newly opened, you'll play an important role in building team culture, driving performance and helping shape the next chapter of the store's success.
About the role
Working closely with the Store Manager, you'll be a hands‑on leader who brings energy, commercial awareness and a genuine passion for people.
You'll lead from the floor, support the day‑to‑day operation of the store and create an environment where both customers and team members feel valued.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the Store Manager with daily operations and overall store performance.
- Leading by example and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
- Building customer relationships and creating engaging brand experiences.
- Coaching, motivating and developing a high-performing team.
- Supporting recruitment, onboarding and ongoing training.
- Creating a positive team culture built on collaboration and accountability.
- Driving sales targets, productivity and commercial results.
- Supporting rostering, stock management and inventory control.
- Maintaining high standards of visual merchandising and store presentation.
- Ensuring operational, workplace health and safety and compliance standards are met.
- Handling customer feedback and resolving issues confidently.
- Identifying opportunities to improve team performance and the customer experience.
About you
You'll be an experienced retail or customer‑facing leader who enjoys developing people, driving results and creating an environment where customers love to shop.
You might already be an Assistant Store Manager, Department Manager, Supervisor or Senior Team Leader looking for your next opportunity.
Ideally, you'll bring:
- Experience leading, coaching or supervising a customer‑focused team.
- A genuine passion for customer service and building relationships.
- Strong commercial awareness and an understanding of sales performance.
- Confidence motivating and developing people.
- A hands‑on leadership style and willingness to lead from the floor.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- The ability to adapt, problem‑solve and take ownership.
- A positive attitude and a genuine desire to learn and grow.
