About the Company

Join a busy hospitality venue in Longreach, welcoming a mix of locals, regular customers and travellers passing through the region.
The venue plays an important part in the local community, and the team is looking for a Venue Manager who understands the value of friendly service, a well‑run operation and making people feel welcome.
This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys the hands‑on side of hospitality and wants to be involved in all aspects of running a venue. The right person will be approachable, organised and comfortable taking responsibility while working alongside their team to keep things running smoothly.

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Venue Manager to oversee the day-to-day operation of this busy Longreach venue.
You’ll be responsible for managing staff, coordinating service, maintaining standards and making sure customers have a positive experience every time they visit. You’ll also work closely with the business owners or senior management on staffing, stock control, costs, compliance and the overall performance of the venue.
This is a hands‑on role that calls for someone who is happy to lead from the floor, step in when things get busy and support the team where needed. You’ll need to be confident making decisions, handling customer concerns and keeping everyone focused during busy periods.
Building a positive team culture will be just as important as managing the daily operations. The successful candidate will be someone who communicates well, treats people fairly and takes pride in running a venue that customers want to return to.

Your Skills and Experience

  • Previous experience as a Venue Manager, Assistant Manager or in a similar hospitality management role.
  • Strong people skills, with the ability to lead, train and support a team in a busy environment.
  • Experience managing day-to-day operations, staff rosters, stock control and operating costs.
  • A practical, customer‑focused approach, with the confidence to resolve issues and make decisions when needed.
  • Good knowledge of hospitality compliance, workplace health and safety, and responsible service requirements relevant to the venue.

Your Benefits and Rewards

  • The opportunity to manage a busy hospitality venue in Longreach.
  • A varied, hands‑on role with genuine responsibility for day-to‑day operations.
  • The chance to build a strong team and make a positive impact on the venue.
  • An opportunity to develop your management experience and contribute your own ideas.
  • The chance to become part of the Longreach community and build relationships with local customers.

Ready for a change of pace and a new challenge?

If you're a hands‑on hospitality professional who enjoys leading people, keeping a busy venue on track and making customers feel welcome, this could be a great next step.
