About Opportunity
We are currently seeking an experienced Material Handler to join a busy manufacturing environment in Epping. Our client is a well-established Australian manufacturer specialising in the design and production of premium caravans and recreational vehicles. This is a hands-on role, with approximately 20-30% of the day spent operating forklifts, while the remainder of the role will involve picking, general labouring and supporting the production team.
About the Role
- Operating high reach and counterbalance forklifts for approximately 20-30% of the working day
- Picking materials and components for production
- Inwards goods and receiving stock
- Preparing materials and components for production
- General warehouse labouring
- Moving and organising stock throughout the warehouse and production areas
- Supplying materials to production as required
- Loading and unloading deliveries
- Assisting with general production and warehouse duties
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
About You
- Proven counterbalance forklift experience
- Previous picking and warehouse experience
- Experience in inwards goods
- Previous manufacturing, production or labouring experience highly regarded
- Comfortable performing manual and physical work throughout the day
- Good attention to detail and accuracy when picking
- Strong safety awareness
- Reliable transport and a strong work ethic
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
