Early Childhood Centre Chef- Part Time On Going

- Scheduled Hours: Thursdays & Fridays, 9:00am - 2:00pm
- Pay rate $44 per hour
FHR is currently seeking a reliable experienced Early Childhood Centre Chef to join our client in Vermont South on a part time- casual ongoing role.
About the Role
This position requires someone who is passionate about working with children and able to provide a safe, nurturing and engaging environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and prepare healthy, nutritious meals for children aged 6mths - 5yrs.
- Plan and deliver cooking experiences with the children as part of the curriculum.
- Update and plan menus quarterly (seasonal menu).
- Order food supplies in consultation with the Centre Director.
- Ensure Safe and Hygienic Handling and preparation of food and drinks.
- Work as part of a team, to create a safe and caring environment for Children.
Requirements
- Copy of Certificate III in Commercial Cookery
- Clear Working with Children Check
- Copy of Anaphylaxis and Auto immune device training (if separate from First Aid)
- Police check (within 6 months)
- National Safety & Child protection training evidence
- Experience working in childcare or a similar role preferred
- Must be reliable, punctual and flexible
- Must be available for casual ongoing role
