About the Role
Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you'll work across multiple business units, partnering with operational and leadership teams to provide the financial and commercial insights that drive performance. This is not a role where you'll spend your time focused solely on month-end reporting. Instead, you'll be "riding shotgun" for the Commercial Manager and getting involved in pricing decisions, tender submissions, business cases, commercial analysis and strategic projects, giving you exposure to how the business operates and grows.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Building financial models, pricing reviews and business cases
- Supporting budgeting, forecasting and management reporting
- Investigating performance trends and providing meaningful commercial insights
- Analysing costs, profitability and operational performance
- Supporting tender submissions and new business opportunities
- Preparing reports, presentations and decision papers for leadership teams
- Managing customer invoicing and reporting requirements
- Supporting contract administration and customer review processes
- Working closely with stakeholders across finance, operations and leadership
The role is based in Fortitude Valley, with occasional travel to operational sites.
