We're seeking an experienced Applications Administrator to support and enhance a suite of critical business applications within a large and complex organisation.
This is a hands-on role focused on ensuring business applications remain reliable, well-utilised, and aligned to operational needs. You'll work closely with end users, stakeholders and technical teams to provide application support, coordinate upgrades and releases, gather requirements, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and support enterprise business applications
- Investigate and resolve application issues
- Coordinate application upgrades, testing and releases
- Gather and analyse business requirements
- Support system enhancements and process improvement initiatives
- Develop and maintain application documentation
- Provide user training and stakeholder support
- Assist with reporting and data analysis activities
Key Requirements
- Experience in Application Support, Application Administration or Business Systems support roles
- Strong business analysis and requirements gathering skillsExperience with UAT, testing, upgrades and implementation activities
- Exposure to SQL, reporting or data analysis
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Ability to work across technical and business teams
- Experience supporting enterprise or corporate applications
- Experience within Local Government
- Exposure to EDRMS, Records Management, ITSM or ERP-style applications
