Accounts Payable Officer | c.$50 p/hour | Melbourne | Temporary Position | Ideal for WHV or those looking for short-term opportunities
Four Quarters have exclusively partnered with a large, well-established business boasting an exceptional finance team who are seeking an experienced and highly organised Accounts Payable Officer to take on a fast-paced, temporary role on a full-time basis.
This is a ‘hands-on’ role, suited to someone who has strong attention to detail and is confident communicating with internal and external stakeholders regarding accounts and payments.
Job Specification
- Managing accounts payable and supplier accounts
- Processing supplier invoices, credit notes and payment runs accurately and on time
- Generate daily customer invoices
- Reconciling supplier statements, resolving invoice discrepancies and responding to accounts payable queries
- Maintaining accurate supplier records
- Supporting week-end activities and reporting requirements
- General accounts and administrative duties as required
- Handle incoming phone enquiries and emails
- Other ad-hoc tasks
Desired Skills / Experience
- At least 1 years’ experience within Accounts Payable
- SAP experience desired but not essential
- Organisational and time management skills with the ability to work to deadlines
- Experience dealing with high volumes of invoices whilst maintaining accuracy
