Foster & Co is a family-owned jewellery business with an in-store manufacturing workshop, where personal service and quality craftsmanship are at the heart of what we do. This is a casual opportunity with potential to progress into a permanent position for the right person. You'll help customers celebrate life's special moments by guiding them through jewellery and gift choices with confidence and care.
Key responsibilities
- Welcome customers and ask thoughtful questions to understand their needs
- Guide customers through jewellery and gift choices with confidence and care
- Work towards individual and team sales targets
- Assist with repair and custom jewellery enquiries, supported by our workshop team
- Follow up enquiries and help turn interest into purchases
- Maintain beautiful displays and high store presentation standards
- Assist with transactions, stock handling and everyday store operations
About you
- A warm, professional manner and strong communication skills
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn
- Reliability, attention to detail and pride in your presentation
- The ability to work collaboratively in a busy retail environment
- Saturday availability is essential, along with availability during peak trading periods, including Christmas
- Previous retail or sales experience is preferred
- Jewellery experience is welcome, but a strong customer focus and willingness to learn matter too
