The predicted salary is between 15.3 - 18.7 $ per hour.
We are seeking a dedicated Kennel Hand to join our team at the Forster Tuncurry Boarding Kennels and Cattery in Failford, NSW. This casual position is perfect for someone with a passion for animal welfare and a commitment to providing exceptional care for our furry guests.
MUST BE AVAILABLE WEEKDAYS AND WEEKENDS AND FOR AN IMMEDIATE START.
What you’ll be doing:
- Ensuring the daily cleaning and sanitation of kennels and cattery facilities
- Feeding, exercising, and monitoring the health and wellbeing of the animals in our care
- Assisting with the grooming and bathing of our boarding pets
- Providing a safe, comfortable, and stimulating environment for all our guests
- Maintaining detailed records and communicating with pet owners as needed
- Supporting the wider team with any other duties as required
What we’re looking for:
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation
- Compassionate and patient nature, with the ability to handle animals of all sizes and temperaments
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including weekends and public holidays
At this stage the successful applicants’ shifts will be both weekday and weekend work 7:30am-5:30pm. Weekend work is a MUST for this job, non negotiable. Shifts currently available to be discussed.
