This is a fast paced and exciting place to work and the successful candidate will work within a supportive, dynamic team of dedicated nurses and multidisciplinary team, providing quality, evidence-based care. We are employing nurses at both our locations and you may have the opportunity to work across both Forster & Mayo Private Hospitals with a variety of case mix and as part of a multidisciplinary team supporting our Medical, Surgical and Rehabilitation Wards.
- Current registration with APHRA
- Ability to work flexible hours – shift work, on-call and overtime as required
- A commitment to service and quality improvement
- A positive attitude and an adaptable approach to problem solving and decision making
- Organisational skills with an ability to manage competing priorities and meet critical timeframes
- Strong collaborative interpersonal skills with well-developed verbal and written communication skills
- National Criminal History Record Check
- Current Working with Children Check
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in relevant areas with a demonstrated sound knowledge and practice
- Post graduate qualifications in relevant specialty or working towards same
- Training in Advance Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) & Paediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- Experience within a similar role
