Ellenbrook Urgent Care Centre Summer Shifts
Summer’s a busy time at ourUrgent Care centre, and we’re looking for GPs to help out over the holidays, from December through January. Maybe you’d like a few extra shifts, a short block of work, or you’re happy to pick up a public holiday or two. Either way, this one’s worth a read.
So, what’s it like?
You’ll be part of Australia’s largest urgent care network, working alongside experienced nurses and strong clinical leaders who genuinely have your back. The systems are good, the team is collaborative, and the setup lets you focus on what matters: looking after patients.
On any given shift, you might see:
Acute illness and injury presentations
Minor procedures and wound management
Same-day urgent assessments
Short-term acute care within a structured clinical framework
Summer is when the community needs us most. You’ll be helping people over the holidays and taking pressure off the local ED when it’s at its busiest.
Here’s what you get
Up to $2,500 per shift
Flexible summer shifts: pick the days that suit you
Christmas, New Year and Australia Day shifts available
Travel and accommodation covered if you’re coming in FIFO or DIDO
Training and opportunities to keep growing your skills
You’ll need:
FRACGP or FACRRM
Unrestricted AHPRA registration
Current ALS certification
ED, VMO or Urgent Care experience
RACGP Indigenous Cultural Awareness and Cultural Safety training (or be happy to complete it before you start)
