We're seeking a limited number of experienced Nurse Practitioners to join Forge Apex, begin onboarding and training where required, and help deliver comprehensive telehealth care to patients across Australia.
The Opportunity
As a Telehealth Nurse Practitioner with Forge Apex, you'll provide clinical assessments, consultations and ongoing patient care through secure video consultations. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assessing patients across medical weight management, hormonal health, longevity and preventative healthcare.
- Evaluating suitable treatment options, including peptide based therapies, TRT and HRT, where clinically appropriate.
- Supporting patients with their recovery, muscle health and overall wellbeing.
- Monitoring patient progress and adjusting treatment plans based on individual needs.
- Maintaining accurate clinical documentation and delivering consistent, patient centred care.

What We're Looking For
We're seeking experienced Nurse Practitioners with strong clinical judgement and a genuine interest in preventative healthcare, medical weight management and long-term patient outcomes.
Essential Requirements:
- Current, unrestricted AHPRA registration with Nurse Practitioner endorsement.
- Authority to prescribe relevant S4 medications within your scope of practice (training and onboarding available).
- Ideally 2–3 years of Nurse Practitioner experience.
- Minimum availability of 5 hours per week.
- Experience in independent clinical practice.
- Appropriate professional indemnity insurance covering telehealth services.
- Strong communication and patient-centred care skills.
- Confidence using digital clinical systems and providing telehealth consultations.
- No contractual restrictions preventing external telehealth work.
- Private workspace and reliable internet connection.
- Willingness to work as an independent contractor (invoice-based).
Desirable:
- S8 prescribing experience, including relevant regulatory and monitoring requirements.
- Experience in medical weight management, metabolic health or hormonal health.
- Experience with higher-risk prescribing, relevant monitoring requirements and clinical escalation.
- Interest in evidence-based preventative medicine, strength, body composition and long-term health optimisation.
- Experience across all treatment areas is not essential. We value practitioners who demonstrate sound clinical judgement, understand their scope of practice and are committed to ongoing learning and evidence-based care.
