We are currently looking for a full time Mechanical Fitter to join our team in Benalla.
Key responsibilities
- Provide the maximum level of machine availability and reliability.
- Provide safe operating performance of machinery and processes.
- Complete Preventative/predictive maintenance as directed
- Providing the necessary information for reordering of parts.
- Undertake repairs and maintenance of site machinery and equipment.
- Operate the lathe.
- Welding and fabrication.
About you
- A Mechanical Fitter trade or other trade qualification with extensive mechanical experience.
- In-depth knowledge of WHSE legislation and safe work practices.
- Understanding of Manufacturing equipment.
- Strong written and verbal communications skills.
- Must pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol testing and National Character Check.
