Join our Professional Driver Team and be part of a fast paced environment focusing on building strong customer relationships through local freight deliveries and pickups. This role would suit a customer focused and self-driven operator with a passion for delivering no matter the obstacle. The Job:
- Flexible with working varied hours, including weekends and overtime with penalty rates.
- Work to deliver high levels of service to our customers through effectively transporting general freight supporting the community.
- Take responsibility for safely and securely loading and unloading a variety of freight with some manual handling of parcel freight.
- Completing daily vehicle inspections and necessary paperwork including pre-start checks as well as filling out run sheets, PODs and logbooks.
- Operate a forklift or pallet jack to load and unload general freight.
Requirements:
- Hold a current MR license with proven experience operating a Heavy Vehicle for a minimum of 2 years.
- A strong level of resilience and ability to problem solve coupled with the capability to work within a fast-paced, high pressure environment.
- Have a passion for going the extra mile to provide high level service to all our customers.
- Ability to effectively communicate with a diverse customer base.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, including a drug and alcohol screen, as well as a criminal history check if required.
